The journey of Infant Jesus English medium school Modankap, Bantwal has been a testament to dedication and a commitment to excellence in education. As we celebrate this significant milestone, let us reflect on the impact this school has had on the lives of students, teachers and the society. The vision and guidance of all the Correspondents laid foundation for excellence. The Heads of the institutions have shaped not only the school but also the lives of those within the walls. I thank members of the managing committee and all the teachers for their tireless efforts in imparting knowledge and values that have left an indelible mark on the many hearts.

I am immensely happy to learn that Infant Jesus English Medium School is at the threshold of its Silver Jubilee. It is a great mile stone towards the ongoing journey of this esteemed educational institution. It has made a name in and around Bantwal Taluk because of the value based education imparted at the school. It makes me proud to say that I had an opportunity to serve the school in its administration as correspondent of this Infant Jesus English Medium School for almost six years. It gave me some kind of fulfillment to cater to the needs of the pupils and staff as well, amidst multiple challenges that every educational institution of the day faces.

I remember those days around twenty five years back how hard it was to begin a school in English medium in the state of Karnataka, in view of encouraging the state language of the state Kannada. In spite of all the challenges to face ahead, the pioneers went ahead boldly to lay the foundation for Infant Jesus English School with great far-sightedness. Thanks to their decision to begin this school that bore fruits and hundreds of students got educated here and went forward with their better prospects.

One of the biggest reasons why education is important is that it helps us become better versions of ourselves. It can empower us to become empathic individuals, build our self-confidence, learn more about our strengths and address our weaknesses. Enriching the brains with new and valuable information improves the ability to think, analyze and process the world around us. The learning process is important because it results in new knowledge — knowledge that opens our minds to new perspectives, ideas, beliefs, cultures and solutions. Learning about different perspectives and world views helps any person quickly adapt to new and unfamiliar environments. It also sparks the imagination and helps us tackle unfamiliar challenges.

On the completion of the twenty five years of its existence I congratulate all those who have one way or the other cooperated, supported, administered and rendered their services as members of the staff and the students with their parents, for being part of the institution. For an institution like one at hand twenty five years are not a great period because it has to go forward for centuries. But the successful beginnings have laid a strong foundation for the years ahead. So I wish a bright future to the Institution in the years to come. May the Patron Infant Jesus bless the institute at every step in the future.

Parish Priest, Valencia

I am glad and pleased to know that Infant Jesus School is celebrating Silver Jubilee of its existence.  I Congratulate the Correspondents, Headmasters, teachers and all the students- past and present, as it is because of their love, hard work and effort this school has been flourishing in the past 25 glorious years.

I have served this school as correspondent between the years 2006-2010.  Then it was the leading school in that area with always 100% results.  As it was the best school, there was great demand by the parents to avail a seat for their children.  I am sure that the same trend is continuing now too.

It is true that in this competitive world, a lot of importance is given for marks and results, but the management, teachers and parents should also realize that character makes a human  being and values should be instilled in the young minds before they pass through the portals of the school, and thus they train them as responsible human beings and honest citizens of our country.

My best wishes and prayers to the Management, Staff and the Students. May Infant Jesus shower on them His choicest blessings and keep them always healthy and happy.

I congratulate V. Rev. Fr Valerian D’ Souza, the Correspondent, Rev. Fr Melwin Lobo, the Headmaster, the Staff and Students on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee.  May the celebration of this Jubilee enthuse them to rededicate themselves for the formation of the future citizens of our country.

Catholic Board of Education

25 years of endless strive towards Excellence is finally here. Infant Jesus English Medium School, Modankap has come a long way since 1997 and the management and staff and well-wishers have worked hard to build a conducive environment to nurture passionate learners and gracious citizens of this country.

My memories go back to 25 years. It is the time (1994) when the  Karnataka Government  had just introduced  Language Policy in the schools – i.e. the  medium of instruction in all the schools should be Kannada. And at that time the great visionary Late Rev Fr Peter Salvadore Noronha, took the initiative of starting the English Medium School in Modankap in the midst of  the problem of the Language Policy.  The memories of the struggles and the hardships that he had undergone in establishing this prestigious institution under CBE are still alive.

Today the institution has grown to its glorious  heights especially in the academic excellence. 100% result achieved every year is an example for its success. The hard work  with professional honesty which has been tirelessly carried out by each member of this institution right from the beginning until today is praiseworthy.  All really deserve sincere appreciation for maintaining and promoting academic as well as intellectual quality.

I extend my best wishes and look forward to have many more successes and achievements in the years to come and wish this institution to reach its pinnacle of success.

At this auspicious occasion of Silver Jubilee celebration, I congratulate the Joint Secretary, Headmaster, staff and Students of Infant Jesus English Medium School, Modankap on reaching this historical milestone.  I pray that the various activities that are to be orgnaised on the occasion of this Silver Jubilee may be blessed by the Infant Jesus the patron of this institution.

May He bless us all.
